Microdosing Fiction (A story in 70 Words) – Blanket

Today’s “Microdosing Fiction” prompt comes from the March 18, 2024 prompt, “Blanket.”

When I got home from work, I changed into my nightie before climbing into bed. Waited all day for this. I grabbed my favorite blanket and wrapped myself in it before pulling the comforter over me. When Jack got home a few minutes ago, he found me here – cozy and waiting. He said, “Make room for me under there, Sweetness.” This bed and this man are all I want.
